Capitalising on the growth of Microsoft in the business solutions marketplace, Softlab Limited has announced the key appointment of Annette Giardina as head of its Microsoft business division.
With a highly successful career in developing the Microsoft business channel, Giardina joins Softlab with aim of making it one of the top providers of Microsoft business solutions in the UK. To this end, Softlab is continuing to develop and grow its Microsoft solutions offering, which is based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM, Microsoft Call Centre Foundation, Microsoft Office Share point Server and Microsoft Business Intelligence.
Giardina brings with her 17 years’ CRM industry experience gained across Europe and US, with domain expertise in Sales Force Automation (SFA), Field Service Management, Contact Centres, Business Intelligence and Marketing. She has developed solutions for companies in Life Sciences, Technology, Finance, Public and third-sector markets and her Dynamics CRM expertise dates back to June 2003, when she worked with the original beta product and went on to successfully develop a Microsoft CRM division for two other solutions providers.
“My challenge will be to grow Softlab’s existing Microsoft CRM business, whilst broadening our Microsoft solutions offerings to present our customers with vertical solutions which serve the needs of their market,” she says. “Softlab has a reputation for excellence in the Contact Centre market and we will build on that experience with offerings based on Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Microsoft Call Centre Foundation. To support this, I am recruiting a team of the top Microsoft talent available in the UK to augment our existing capability.”
Softlab’s chief executive officer, Gareth Thomas, sees her knowledge of the CRM industry and Microsoft CRM business development expertise as integral to the Softlab Group growth strategy. “Softlab has a rich history in the Contact Centre and CRM arena and we will now strengthen this with Annette’s expertise of the Microsoft CRM channel,” says Thomas.
"With its aggressive commitment to growth and investment in the right type of people, we see Softlab moving up the partner leader board, especially in the Contact Centre market,” confirms Microsoft UK product solutions marketing manager, Jason Nash. “At Microsoft, we know Annette from old and her understanding of our products and the markets they fit into will greatly benefit end users, Softlab and Microsoft alike."
